PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size and small-area thermal head having a high reliability by providing a connecting point in such a way that adjacent paired electrodes are always in the face of selection electrodes not adjoined in the connection of the paired electrodes and the selection electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The connecting points 121-125 between paired electrodes 106-1, 106-2-110-1 and 110-2 led out of heating elements 101-105 and selection electrodes 111-115 are provided in such a way that the adjacent electrodes, e.g., the selection electrodes 113 and 115 in the face of the connecting points 122 and 123, are always not adjoined. Such a relationship is set up among all connecting points and selection electrodes, thus enabling the connecting through holes of the electrodes to be enlarged without expanding the area of matrix wiring part. |
