PURPOSE:To detect exactly the bending angle of a work from the extent of movement of a contactor which projects toward the work by providing said contactor in the bending face of a punch. CONSTITUTION:A punch 2 is lowered on the work 3 placed on a die 1 and the top end of at least one contactor 4 contacts with the work 3 nearly at the same instant when the top end of the punch 2 contacts with the work 3. A cantilever 8 is roughly linear in this stage but when the punch 2 descends further, the bending of the work 3 is started between the die 1 and the punch 2 and the contactor 4 is forced upward against a compression spring 5; at the same time, the loose end of the cantilever 8 is forced upward whereby the intermediate part thereof is curved. The bending angle of the work 3 is detected by a detector 1 with such curving. |
