PURPOSE:To take in and out easily a specific optical fiber core, by holding a holding material, which is fixed pivotally to a holding material storing box body freely turnably, so that this holding material can be taken in and out on one opened face of the holding material storing box body. CONSTITUTION:Fixing tools 10 and 11 are provided on a side plate 6 of a holding material storing box body 2 to fix a cable F and an optical fiber core G'. A holding material 3 which holds the core G' together with a connection part J and excess long parts L1 and L' is stored in the storing box body 2, and holding materials 3 are fixed freely turnably by hinges 18 individually. Since a pair of optical fiber cores connected in this manner are stored in a connection box 1 individually, crossing of cores and the break of cores are prevented to take in and out cores easily when a specific core is taken into and out of the connection box. |
