<p>The device comprises a milling or grinding unit (1) and a unit for fixing the part in a proper position. The part fixing unit is provided as a movable carriage (2) having two bearing surfaces (4, 5) arranged to form an angle smaller than 100o and comprised of bars (7) or plates (6). Said bars (7) or plates (6) are connected between each other and at the ends by cross-bars (8, 9). Between the bars, plates and cross-bars and in the displacement direction of the carriage a slot (10) is provided. In the displacement field of the slot (10) and on the side of the carriage opposite to the bearing surface the milling or grinding unit is fixed. The part supported by the carriage may thereby pass horizontally in front of the milling or grinding unit (1) and its edge protruding downwardly from the slot (10) is thus machined. </p> |
