The invention relates to a device for the, preferably powered, screwing of hooked bolts into dowels, walls, beams and the like. The device consists of a receiving body which is provided, on one side, with a recess for the hook of the hooked bolt and possesses, on the other side, a tang or the like which is arranged coaxially to the lower end of the recess. As a result of this coaxial arrangement, the axis of the tang is aligned at the same time with the axis of the screwing part, projecting out of the recess, of the hooked bolt. The device can therefore be gripped by the tang and the hooked bolt can be screwed into the dowel or the like by a simple rotary movement. According to the invention, the tang can be constructed in various forms, e.g. for reception in the chuck of a hand drill or in a special machine. The tang can however also be formed simply as a handle of a screwdriver. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the receiving body is provided, on the side of the recess, with a hollow into which various inserts can be inserted as desired, which inserts contain for their part the recess in various sizes. In this way, the device can be used for screwing in hooked bolts of various sizes.
