Each nozzle 17 is connected by a respective pipe 18 having a valve 22, to common pipe 19 which is connected by sleeve 27 to fixed pipe 30 such that pipe 19 is rotatable relative to pipe 30. The pipe 30 is connected to pump 29 which applies suction during sludge removal and supplies back flushing liquid during cleaning of the pipes and nozzles. The pipes 18 may be partially transparent or provided with flow indicators.</p> |
