<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal sound from being generated from a loud- speaker by stopping an output of an amplifier, while a stopper is detached and an intermittent gear is driven by a motor, by providing one muting control switch interlocked with the intermittent gear or its stopper, in a tape player. CONSTITUTION:When a tape reaches the tape end and its running stops, such a suitable tape end detecting device as mentioned above operates, and a tape end detecting lever 15 rotates greatly to the left side in the figure. Subsequently, a pressure piece of this detecting lever 15 hits against the first press-contacting part 18 of a stopper 5, and rotates the stopper 5 counterclockwise against force of a spring 6. As soon as an auto reverse change mechanism operates such as a pinch roll of the reverse side is made to press-contact to a capstan shaft, etc., a switch pressure piece 8 of the stopper 5, which is pressed by the tape end detecting lever 15 presses a muting control switch 9, therefore, a muting circuit is operated.</p> |
