PURPOSE:To stabilize the supporting condition by providing a protruded thick wall extending from both right and left sides to the area just under a battery at the rear side of a battery tray and by engaging the hook provided at the lower end of rod for tightening the battery with an engaging hole formed on said thick wall. CONSTITUTION:A rod engaging protruded thick wall 13, which is extended from both right and left sides to the area just under a battery 1, is provided at the rear side of battery tray of a car battery 1, and an engaging hole 14, which is extended from the side surface to the area just under the battery 1, is bored in the protruded wall 13, and simultaneously a reinforcing bead 17 is formed in the center. A bent hook 16 formed at the lower end of battery tightening rod 15 is engaged with the engaging hole 14 and the other end of rod 15 is clamped to a clamping metal 18 bridged at the upper part of battery 1. Accordingly, damage of battery tray 12 and deformation of the hook 16 can be prevented effectively and as a result, a rigid battery tray can be formed without allowing neither loosening not play. |
