PURPOSE:To retrieve and extract a required analog signal with an easy operation by recording the analog signal on one track of a magnetic tape and recording a digital signal including related information on a corresponding area of the other track. CONSTITUTION:An address directory recording area F0 is provided in the first part of a magnetic tape 13, and the analog signal of a musical piece is sound recorded following this area on one track 14. Delimiting points Pn, Pn+1- of respective measures are determined on the track 14 under the control of a system control part 4, and address mark signals An, An+1- are sound recorded in parallel on the other track 15 in accordance with these points Pn- through a digital signal sound recording/reproducing control part 3. Numbers (n) of respective measures and a table of contents (address directory) are sound recorded on the area F0 in the similar method on a basis of marks An-. Hereafter, an optional measure is retrieved and extracted on a basis of this address directory, and only the designated measure is reproduced. |
