PURPOSE:To obtain a net form structure by a simple device and advantageously on an industrial basis, by a method wherein a sheet of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is heated to a specified temperature, is provided with a plurality of cuts having a fixed length in a regular manner, then the cuts are forcibly opened wide, and then the same is cooled. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 1 having a thickness of generally 0.05-10mm. is heated to a temperature in such a range that the sheet is deformed when being applied with a deforming force but melting or flowing of the material does not occur, and then the sheet 1 is provided with a plurality of cuts 2 having a fixed length (preferably 10-100mm.) in a regular manner, e.g., in such a manner that the cuts adjacent to each other along the longitudinal direction are in a staggered form. Then, the cuts 2 are forcibly opened widely, for example by forcibly pressing into the cuts 2 rod form bodies 12 erected on a roll 10, followed by cooling to obtain the objective net form structure. If required, an adhesive is previously applied to the parts 8 to be brought into contact after forcibly widening the cuts, and the back sides of small width sheets are adhered to each other.
