PURPOSE:To prolong life and to improve copy picture quality, by using a fixation roll which is constituted by providing a heat-resisting rubber layer of silicone rubber, etc., around a roll core made of metal, plastic, etc., and further providing a porous layer of polytetrafluoroethylene resin around the outer surface. CONSTITUTION:The mandrel 10 made of metal or plastic is provided with the heat-resisting rubber layer 11 of silicon rubber or fluororubber and its outer surface is provided with the poruous layer 12 of polytetrafluoroetylene resin (PTFE) which has, for example, 60mum thickness, a 0.5mum pore diameter, and 50% porosity, thus forming the heat roll. Consequentnly, the outer layer is made of the PTFE, so the surface friction coefficient is small, the influence of a separating pawl and a blade is hardly exerted, and the life is prolonged to improve the copy picture quality. |
