PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment and the mechanism, by recording a pilot signal of a different frequency in advance at a part of an overlap recording/ reproduction or vertical blanking period, in a rotary head type magnetic recorder/reproducer. CONSTITUTION:The pilot signal f5 having a different frequency recorded at a part of an overlapped recording/reproducing part theta3 of plural heads or a part of the vertical blanking period is reproduced at the inserting recording and a control signal synchronized to tracks n, n-2 recorded already is extracted. Further, a vertical synchronizing signal of a television signal recorded newly is synchronized as a reference signal of the reproduction control and the new television signal is inserted and recorded. Thus, the joint of pictures before and after the insert recording start point and end point is smoothed and the disturbance in the reproduced picture is avoided. |
