PURPOSE:To prevent wire cut by a method wherein the electric discharge condition of wire cut electric discharge work is judged and the relative frequency of concentrated abnormal discharge is detected based on the decision to compare the frequency with a set value and control the feed of the electric discharge work. CONSTITUTION:A concentrated abnormal electric discharge signal A, obtained from an electric discharge condition detecting circuit 6, is inputted into a comparator 7. The comparator 7 is provided with the set value B from a setter 8. The output of the comparator 7 is inputted into a counter 9. One output n1 of the counter 9 is inputted into the reset input terminal R of a flip flop 10 while the other output n2 is inputted into the reset input terminal S of another flip flop 17. When the relative frequency of the abnormal concentrated electric discharge is smaller than the set value n1, the speed of the feeding is increased, and when the same is larger than the set value n2, the speed of the feeding is decreased. |
