PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and inexpensive pickup shift driver which can be set easily and with necessary accuracy in accordance with a using player, by supplying the tracking element driving power voltage to two parallel comparator having different levels of comparison voltage to secure a follow-up of a pickup to a track. CONSTITUTION:A signal 6 sent from a tracking circuit undergoes a comparison through a window comparator 17 and passes through a switch circuit 13 which works on a speed signal 11 to drive a motor 10 by a driving circuit 9. The comparator 17 is shown in the figure and compares the input voltages V1 and V2 (V1>V2) of a single side of two comparators 18a and 18b respectively with the common input voltage of the other side and applies a synthetic output of both comparators 18a and 18b, to a driving circuit. It is possible to set the tracking drive voltage within a fixed range, that is, to set the inclination of a pickup within a fixed angle by setting the values of V1 and V2. |
