Portable water container having a replaceable inner bag within an outer protective covering and having a tubular drain and fill conduit connected thereto. The problem associated with portable water containers having a replaceable inner bag is encountered in the sealing and securement of a tubular drain and fill conduit to the inner bag and other covering. The present system provides a tubular drain and fill conduit releasably secured to and in sealed flow communication with the inner bag and being likewise releasably secured to the outer covering. The portable water container has an inner bag (7) formed of a flexible water impermeable sheet and an outer protective covering (11) for the bag, formed of a wear-resistant fabric. The tubular drain and fill conduit (16) is mounted in aligned openings (8) and (12) in the bag (7) and covering (11). An annular releasable clamping member (17) secures and provides a watertight seal connection between the bag (7) and conduit (16). A second annular releasable clamping member (18) secures the conduit to the cover (11). |
