PURPOSE:To improve the shrinkage characteristics when a wiper is not in use by making a wiper arm shrinkable. CONSTITUTION:A wiper device wiping a wind shield 11 is constituted with a blade 22 and an arm 21, and the arm 21 is pivoted by a pivot 25 and made shrinkable by a slider mechanism 30. Accordingly, the necessary wiping pattern 26 is ensured when the wiper is in use, but it can be stored below the wind shield when not in use, thus the arm is prevented from becoming an obstacle. |
