PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a field residual image, to improve the resolution to a color element and to prevent the generation in mixture, by realizing the driving of the interlace system scanning one set of photoelectric conversion element group shifted by one column at each field. CONSTITUTION:One set of transfer gate switching pulse is provided in a vertical blanking period, in a CCD pickup element provided with plural vertical CCD shift registers 2-1, 2-2 and transfer gates 4-1, 4-2 in checkers arrangement belonging to each register. The 1st pulse has no delay with time in the 1st field and is generated to the 2nd pulse corresponding to the time in the 2nd field by the 2nd pulse width in the 2nd field. The 2nd pulse is generated by the pulse width of the 1st pulse to the 1st pulse corresponding time to the 1st field and the 2nd pulse having no delay with time is generated in the 2nd field. The transfer gates are switched with the pulses and the signal charge of all columns is transmitted to horizontal CCD shift registers 3-1, 3-2. |
