PURPOSE:To improve operability, by a method wherein, in a device which releases a pair of rollers forming a sheet conveying passage, from contact engagement, a switch for stopping drive of a pair of rollers is capable of operation in linkage with a lever means for releasing one roller from the other roller. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper, unrolled from a roll material 11, passes above a platen stand 15 through between a feed rubber roller 32 and backup rollers 33 and is taken out to the outside. In which case, a roller shaft 39, with which the backup rollers 33 rotatably engage, is rotatably supported at its ends to both sides of each of side plates 36, and engages with a long hole part 362 on one side of the side plate. Further, the shaft 39 is elastically energized upwardly at its center part by a leaf spring 41. One end of a feed lever 35 is brought into contact with the end part of the roller shaft 39 engaging with the long hole part 362, and with the lever 35 rotated in a direction G, the roller 32 and the roller 33 are released from contact engagement, and simultaneously, a switch 37 for stopping drive is operated with the aid of a protruding plate part 351. |
