<p>PURPOSE:To enable feeding of a very thick sheet, by providing an elastic member with an upper side cavity part and an upper end surface bent in a circular arc. CONSTITUTION:At the forward end of a holding arm 2, a sheet retaining part 2a is horizontally situated and an elastic member mounting part 2b is located. An upper end surfacd 4c, bent in a circular arc, of an elastic member 4 makes press contact with the under surfce of the sheet retaining part 2a, making deformation slightly, while the elastic member 4 being made of a material having high friction factor against a copying sheet 1. When the uppermost copying sheet 1, fed by a convey roll 7, makes abutment on the elastic member 4, the elastic member 4 is bent by firmstand of the copying sheet 1 to form a gap therebetween having a size sufficient to allow the passage of one sheet, and the copying sheet 1 is delivered out. This permits the supply of a thick sheet.</p> |
