The invention concerns an apparatus for the automatic supply of a continuous feed (14) of paper or film from a photo setting machine to a developing machine. The apparatus includes a light-tight casing (1, 2), which is light-tightly connected to the photo setting machine's exit end and the developing machine's entry end. The invention is characterised by a carriage (5) arranged in the casing (1, 2) and movable by means of a drive motor (7), mainly horizontally between an initial position with its first end up against an entry (13) from the photo setting machine's exit end and a second position with its other end up against an exit from the developing machine's entry end. The carriage (5) includes at least two pairs of adjoining free rollers (9) between which the continuous feed (14) is fed forward and which are arranged to be driven by a second drive motor (10). The drive motors (7, 10) are designed to be adjusted according to the function of the photo setting machine and the developing machine. The casing (1,2) is constructed with a space (23) under the carriage (5), which is intended as a collecting magazine for parts of the continuous feed (14) between the photo setting machine and the carriage (5) and between the carriage (5) and the developing machine.<IMAGE> |
