PURPOSE:To determine quickly and stably a set up value, by adjusting finely a scanning head while irradiating a luminous flux to the virtual highlight point in an orignal, and comparing the resulted average value and the scanning spot in the original. CONSTITUTION:The signal generated with a photoelectric transducer 5 by the luminous flux of a light source irradiated to the virtual highlight point of an original 3 on an original cylinder 2 is processed with a color computer 8, and is displayed as a dot as the virtual highlight point on a display meter 14. When an original cylinder 12 or scanning head 4 is finely adjusted with motors 11, 10, the plural signals near the virtual highlight point are drawn out, and are averaged with an averaging circuit 7. The scanning spot in the original of the value nearest the average value is set as a highlight point. The set up value is thus determined quickly and stably. |
