PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a scroll fluid machine by turning a turning scroll with the use of a drive mechanism consisting of drive and driven gears and crank shafts, and to make it possible to easily change the capacity of the scroll fluid machine with the use of a scroll of the same shape, by changing the number of the teeth of each gears. CONSTITUTION:Crank shafts 26 secured with a driven gear 29 to which power is transmitted from a drive gear 28 fixed to a drive shaft 25, are carried by bearings disposed in two stationary scrolls 22, 23, and eccentric shafts 44 arranged in the center sections of the crank shafts 26 are fitted in bearings at two positions in the flat plate sections of a turning scroll 24 of double tooth type. Further, each of both stationary scrolls is formed with an upper discharge port 42 and a lower discharge port 43. With this simple arrangement, the turning scroll 24 may be turned in association with the rotation of the drive shaft 25. Further, by changing the number of teeth of gears, the capacity of a scroll fluid machine having stationary and turning scrolls of the same shapes, may be easily changed. |
