In order to improve an evaporation device, in particular made of plastic, for insecticides and/or other volatile active ingredients, consisting of a housing which has openings and in which the active ingredients are arranged, enclosed by a gastight casing, it being possible to release without contact the active ingredients on cutting through of the casing by an opener formed on the housing and screened from the housing and there being arranged in the housing a support which absorbs the active ingredients emerging from the opened casing and has active ingredient evaporation surfaces facing towards the housing openings, in such a manner that, while simplifying the evaporation device for the purpose of cheaper manufacture and increasing the functional reliability, a simpler and less risky refillability of the evaporation device with active ingredients can be achieved, the latter is characterised by the multiple arrangement of active ingredient casings which are to be opened independently of one another. <IMAGE>
