COMPOSITE SPEAKER USING CERAMIC PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To increase an overall reproduction frequency band, by taking charge of a part having a high reproduction frequency with a diaphragm of a small caliber and then a part having a low reproduction frequency with a diaphragm of a large caliber respectively. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic piezoelectric element 2 is held at the lower part of a speaker frame 1, and large and small caliber diaphragms 3 and 4 are adhered to the element 2. The edge part of the diaphragm 3 is supported by the frame 1, and the edge part of the diaphragm 4 is supported by a small caliber diaphragm holding parts 5 containing an equalizer. Then an airtight holding agent 6 such as an edge coating material, etc. is filled into a space formed between the edge parts of diaphragms 3 and 4.
