In order to approximate the dimensions of a vehicle vibration damper arrangement, equipped with an electro-dynamic torsional vibration damper (1), to those of conventional hydraulic or hydropneumatic vibration dampers, the electro-dynamic torsional vibration damper (1) and a device (2) for converting linear relative movements between vehicle body and road surface into rotational movements are arranged coaxially; the conversion device (2) contains a threaded spindle (3), coupled to the rotor (8) of the electro-dynamic torsional vibration damper (1), and a spindle nut (4) rotating on this (fig. 1). <IMAGE>
