PURPOSE:To improve driving feeling by decreasing the number of revolution of an engine as much as the reduction gear ratio of a speed change gear is lowered at the time of up-shift operation, and controlling the number of revolution of the engine corresponding to that multiplied by the reduction gear ratio after speed change at the time of down-shift operation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of up-shift operation, a throttle is closed from the time of inputting a speed change signal just before engagement of a clutch as shown by B. As a result, the number of revolution of an engine is decreased as much as the reduction gear ratio is lowered as shown by A. At the time of down-shift operation, a throttle is closed for a fixed period of time after a speed change signal is input as shown by D, and then before the engagement of the clutch is completed, the throttle is closed for a fixed period of time every time the number of revolution of an engine by fixed number times, for example, multiplied by the reduction gear ratio of a speed change step is detected. Thus, the number of revolution is controlled corresponding to that multiplied by the reduction gear ratio after speed change operation. |
