PURPOSE:To deal with trouble properly and to restart recording after the restoration without trouble, by always watching change of power supply, and executing necessary controls at the time of trouble occurrence and its restoration using a monitor capable of being fed with auxiliary power from power supply. CONSTITUTION:When an AC power supply voltage from a transformer T1 lowers to a preset value or less, output of the comparator Q2 of a power supply monitor PM is inverted to a lower level, and when this state continues after the end of the timer period of the timer TM of a controller Q1, it is judged that it is caused by the abnormal voltage of the power supply. Power is normally supplied from the power supply to these monitor PM and the controller Q1 through diodes D5, D6, and when the power supply is abnormal, power is fed from an auxiliary power supply somewhat lower in voltage and nonsupplied at normal times, and watching of fluctuation of the power supply is continued during the time of the abnormal state. At the time of judgment of trouble, recording action is stopped, and proper countermeasure is taken, and at the time of restoration to the normal state, power supply is started to a fixing heater after the transfer paper has been removed and recording is restarted without trouble. |
