PURPOSE:To stabilize the position and action of the disc of a safety valve in which a nozzle protruding into a valve chamber is opened and closed by the disc urged by a spring, by providing a leak pressure control recess on the sliding contact parts of the disc and a disc guide. CONSTITUTION:A disc 3 for opening and closing a nozzle 2 protruding into a valve chamber 1 is urged by a spring in contact with the nozzle under predetermined pressure. The disc 3 is slidably supported in a disc guide 5 and provided with a labyrinth recess 9 on the sliding contact part. When the pressure in the nozzle 2 has become high, the disc 3 is pushed up so that the pressure is released and a portion of the pressure remains in the labyrinth recess 9. Because of the pressure in the recess 9, pressure uniformly acts to the entire peripheral surface of the disc 3 to stabilize it in a centered position in the guide 5. |
