<p>1. An unsinkable watertight bag, comprising a container (11) of waterproof flexible material having an opening (16) formed by the edges of two substantially parallel side walls (26, 27) of the container having ends suitable for being rolled together over a certain length from said opening (16), and waterproof closure means formed by strips of cloth having fastening hooks and loops fixed on said container side walls (26, 27), characterized by the fact that two strips (41, 42) of hook and loop cloth are fixed on the insides of the container side walls (26, 27) and co-operate with each other to close the opening in waterproof manner, in that two other strips (36, 37) of hook and loop cloth are fixed on the outsides of the container side walls (26, 27) and are at different distances from the edges of the opening (16) to fasten to each other after the ends of said side walls have been rolled up and to keep them rolled up, and in that the sides of the container bottom are extended by flaps (12, 13, 14, 15) suitable for folding down over the rolled up ends of the container side walls and which are provided with means (19, 20) for being fastened together in pairs to oppose the container bursting under the effect of external pressure.</p> |
