<p>Underwear for men and boys is formed by a combination, of undershorts manufactured with woven cloth, and a "jock" made of knitted fabric or "tricot". The front part of this garment has, in the lower part thereof, a pouch or cup (19, 20) formed by joined arcuate pieces of knitted fabric. The central part of the front and, optionally, the back, (23) are formed by pieces (8, 9) of knitted fabric or woven cloth, and the upper part of the front, formed by cloth, with the fly at the centre defined by the bands (25, 26), has its upper edges joined to an elastic band (28) which also extends along the upper edge of the back, forming an elastic waist band.
