PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the recycling properties, reduce the punching load and increase the binding strength by a small amount of use of a binder by providing a punching means for punching one by one on given sites of a sheet and an injection means for injecting the binder into a punching hollow formed of overlapping punched holes. SOLUTION: Sheets 4 ejected by a paper ejection section 3 of an image recording device 2 are transferred onto a first intermediate stacker 7 with a punching means 10. A recognition means 11 for recognizing a first sheet and a last sheet of a sheet bundle to be bound is formed in the vicinity of a paper feed section 6. A signal is output to the punching means 10 by a control means 12 when an operation completion signal of a first alignment means 8 is received, and the sheets are punched one by one. Punching is carried out for one sheet following a 'first one sheet' to one sheet just before a 'last one sheet'. When the sheet alignment is completed on a second intermediate stacker 16, an injection means 18 is moved downward, and a binder is pumped out of a binder storage tank 18b and injected into a punching hollow.
