<p>Case 3628 FLUID FILTER ASSEMBLY There is disclosed a fluid filter assembly which includes a housing defining a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a filter cartridge receiving cavity between the inlet and the outlet. A filter cartridge is arranged to be received within the cavity. The filter cartridge includes a corrugated filter medium and a support structure for supporting the filter medium. The corrugated filter medium has marginal edges molded and embedded within the support structure for being supported by the support structure. The support structure and the housing are in peripheral sealing engagement about the filter medium for directing all of the fluid to be filtered through the filter medium.</p> |
