<p>The double-glazing window comprises an outer wooden frame (1), the internal surface of which contains ridges (1d) and grooves (1c,1e). The frame of the opening portion of the window is also made of wood and shaped in a complementary manner over its periphery to the outer frame, so that, when closed, the opening window frame contacts the outer frame directly or indirectly via compression seals (5). The glass panes (V,V1) of the opening portion of the window are separated by a large air gap to improve the noise insulating properties.</p> |
