PURPOSE:To enable to use a pulse motor of small size which corresponds to the means exciting current by varying the exciting current of a pulse motor in response to the variation in the load torque and maintaining the mean exciting current within the rated value. CONSTITUTION:The drive pulse of the period which corresponds to the rotating speed of a pulse motor is transmitted from a drive pulse generator 8 to a pulse motor drive logic circuit 9. The circuit 9 transmits a control pulse signal for exciting the coils 6a-6c of a pulse motor in the prescribed sequence to a coil switching elements 10a-10c. An exciting power source switching logic circuit 11 increases or decrease the coil exciting current in response to the load torque on the basis of the signal from a position sensor 5 which detects the variation in the position of the load torque. |
