PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of a canned motor by insulating a stator body after containing the body in a housing, thereby elimiating insulating varnish to be bonded onto the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the body. CONSTITUTION:A housing 2 is composed of a cylindrical stator frame 2A, a ring-shaped terminal board 3B, a terminal board 2C, and a can 2D. After a stator body 1 is contained in the housing 2, insulating varnish 3 is filled and exhausted through a filling outlet 2Ca in the housing 2, and the varnish 3 which is adhered to the body 1 is thermally set. Then, a plug 4 is mounted in the outelt 2Ca. |
