PANEL AND INSULATION SYSTEM Preformed panels having a layer of insulation secured to the rear surface of a facing layer are retained in position against a wall by horizontally disposed banding having resiliently coupled ends. A vertical member along one side edge portion of a panel has a spring portion terminating in a flange angled outwardly away from the facing sheet so that a side edge portion of the next adjacent facing sheet may be inserted therebetween and clamped against the facing sheet of the first panel to thereby interlock adjacent horizontally disposed panels.
