PURPOSE:To increase the drive power of a linear motor and to improve a mechanical lifetime of the motor by forming a wear resistance-treated layer on the surface, from which the surface fixed with the slit member of a guide supporting member is fixed and on which bearing means rolls in contact. CONSTITUTION:A hard chromium plating layer 13 of a wear resistance-treated layer is formed on the surface, to which the slit member 11 of a plate member 10 as a guide supporting member forming a stator is fixed. The thickness T of the layer 13 of a ball bearing lace surface 12 is treated thickly in response to the lifetime necessary for a device to be used, and its base can be treated to improve the adherence to the member 10. In this manner, the layer 13 is not existed in the bonding surface of the member 10 with the member 11, thereby remarkably reducing the magnetic resistance in a magnetic path L of a motor, the drive force can be remarkably improved, and the mechanical lifetime can be improved. |
