A vessel for use in an immunoassay and containing an insolubilised antibody and a labelled antibody carries also information required for the immunoassay, such as sample information and details concerning the equation defining the calibration curve, whereby the immunoassay can be quickly and accurately performed. The vessel may be a tube, a microtiter plate or cuvette. The insolubilized antibody may be bonded to the inner wall of the vessel or to plastics or glass beads or cellulose fibers. |
