CONTROL ON HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING

PURPOSE:To perform heat-sensitive recording of stable quality at low cost even when supplied voltage is varied by using a system in which the applying time of voltage to a thermal head is controlled on the basis of applying time data for applied voltage. CONSTITUTION:Data on thermal head applying time finely classified for the variation in voltage to be supplied to a thermal head 1 are stored in ROM24. The data on applying time are compared with the variation in the supplied voltage when recording is made on a recording medium by the thermal head, and on the compared data, the heating time of the thermal head is controlled. Supplied voltage Vcc is read two times at an interval of 1/2 of applying time (t) so as to stabilize applied voltage to the thermal head.
