PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain an air conditioned state at a set temperature and at a set time without performing a wasteful operation by a method wherein an air conditioning operation is started before the set time is reached so that an environment of the set temperature is obtained at the set time and the set temperature is changed automatically during the preliminary operation. CONSTITUTION:When a timer operation for heating is started, the detection of the room temperature is started as soon as a time earlier than the set time by a predetermined amount is reached. Then the intermittent temperature in the above operation is made higher than the set temperature 5 and is then lowered gradually as time lapses. Thus, when the room temperature is low, the operation is started a little earlier and when it is comparatively high, the operation is started a little later. On the other hand, when a timer operation for cooling is performed, the intermittent temperature in the cooling operation is made lower than the set time and then higher gradually as time lapses so that the set temperature is reached at the set time for starting the cooling operation. |
