PURPOSE:To eliminate abnormal wear or the like of an oil ring, by providing an oil ring lift device to a bearing device with the oil ring and lifting the oil ring from a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:During stopping of a rotary machine before its start, firstly a forcibly feed oil device is operated to place a bearing in a forced feed condition of oil. Secondly an instruction is given to a controller 18 to operate a solenoid valve 15 by an electric signal of the controller so as to open only the side of an oil conduction pipe 16. Then oil pressure is applied to a jack 10 lift a supporting metal fixture 14 with a piston 12. A gap is formed between an oil ring 4 lifted by the fixture 14 and a rotary shaft 1. In this way, the rotary shaft and the oil ring are selectively placed in a contactless condition to prevent abnormal wearing of the oil ring. |
