<p>The transportable dwelling for disaster areas is triangular in cross-section, having a roof which slopes down practically to the ground on each side. The module incorporates no masonry, the base being secured to the ground. The module incorporates solar collectors and wind turbines which provide heating and lighting. The apex of the roof contains the longitudinally oriented turbines which are driven by the wind passing over the roof. The surface of the roof incorporates at least one solar collector consisting of an air passage arranged between a transparent upper sheet and an opaque lower sheet.</p> |
