<p>The device relates to the protection against overvoltages, particularly those due to lightning, of binary information transmission systems using an electric line. It comprises a transmitter and a receiver each provided with a high insulation transformer supplied by an oscillator included in a cylindrical block of insulating synthetic resin. The transmitter and the receiver are connected by a normal transmission line. The invention may be applied to all devices provided with remote control and susceptible of being struck by lightning.</p> |
