What is proposed is a device (10) for regulating the pulling force on a tractor (11) having an articulated plough (15), in which the two lower links (13, 14) are mounted on the tractor housing (37) via a bending bar (36), the two bearing points (38, 39) of which absorb the sliding movement occurring as a result of the shortening of the deformed bending bar. The bending bar (36) is mounted at each bearing point (38, 39) by means of a bolt (45), these being parallel to one another and forming pivot axles (45) which extend vertically in the tractor (11) and which are at a short distance from the longitudinal axis of the bending bar (36). As a result of the eccentric position of the bolt and its play, the sliding movement is absorbed, so that the device works with low hysteresis, even where large strokes of the bending bar (36) are concerned, and is also of compact and robust construction. <IMAGE>
