PURPOSE:To carry out the automatic removal of the pipette after pipetting, by attaching a pipette to a pump rotated by the rotation of a slidable rotary shaft, and using a wedge-type cam which presses the top of the pipette by the rotational motion. CONSTITUTION:After the completion of pipetting, the bellows pump 98 carrying the pipette 17 is rotated to the position of the pointed end of the cam lever 132 of the pipette remover 96 by the rotation of the slidable rotary shaft 101. The suction end 98a of the pump 98 is inserted between the wedge-type cams 132a and 132b, and the collar 98c is brought into contact with the upper inclined faces of the cams 132a and 132b and at the same time, the top of the pipette 97 is brought into contact with the lower faces of the cams 132a and 132b. By the further rotation of the pump 98, the gap between the collar 98c and the pipette 97 is widened by the action of the upper inclined face of the cam, and the pipette 97 held by the suction end 98a is removed therefrom and dropped. |
