PURPOSE:To attain high quality of a reproducing signal, by compensating a frequency versus gain characteristic of a reproducing signal amplifier from a magnetic head sharing the inner and outer zone on a magnetic disc. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic heads 2-5 are fitted to the same carriage and moved as shown in the arrow, access a tack of the magnetic disc 1 to read out recorded information or record it. An output of a preamplifier for the magnetic heads 2, 3 is connected to a transmission cable and its peaking coil compensates the caharacteristcis. Thus, the output signals of the inner heads 2, 3 and the outer heads 4, 5 have similar frequency versus gain characteristcs. As a result, the reproducing signals with high quality are obtained without distinction of the inner and outer heads. |
