PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture having good color balance over a wide range with a simple constitution, by adding a single carrier wave having a propper amplitude and the same phase and same frequency as a carrier wave of a modulated chrominance signal, to a modulated chrominance signal of a low level. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a CCD23 is amplified by an amplifier 26 and turned into a luminance signal after the modulated component is deleted by an LPF27. The output signal of the amplifier 26 is applied to a matrix circuit 37 via an LPF28 as well as to a BPF28. Both modulated blue and red signals are obtained through a 1H delaying circuit 30, an adder circuit 31 and a subtractor circuit 32. These modulated signals are added with a single carrier wave having a proper amplitude and the same phase and same frequency as the carrier wave of the modulated chrominance signal through adder circuits 33 and 34 and then demodulated by demodulating circuits 35 and 36. The green, blue and red signals are delivered from the circuits 37, 35 and 36 respectively. |
