PURPOSE:To perform data communication with high quality and high economical performance, by converting the data fed from a data terminal into a digital signal of the same form as a voice signal and then transmitting the digital signal to an analog circuit via a digital switchboard. CONSTITUTION:The audio signal supplied from a telephone set 15-0 is converted into a PCM signal of 64Kbps by a CODEC16-0 and then transmitted to a CODEC14 for analog circuit via a digital network 11. The CODEC 14 converts the PCM signal into the original analog voice signal and transmits it to an analog circuit 18. The data given from a data terminal 12-0 is sampled by an interface 13-0 and converted into a speed of 64Kbps to be applied to a data converting processor 17 via a network 11. The processor 17 converts the signal of 64Kbps into an output signal of a general analog MODEM when the signal of 64Kbps is converted into an analog signal by the CODEC14. This converted signal is transmitted to the CODEC14 via the network 11. |
