FEED SYSTEM OF MULTI-BEAM ANTENNA

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of feeders, by multiplexing plural channels for feeding by means of a multiplexing device at the side of a transmitter and then demultiplexing these channels to each radiating element by a demultiplexing device at the side of a primary radiator. CONSTITUTION:The transmitters 51-5n transmit different channels f1-fn within a band. The multiplexing devices 71-7n exclusive for each channel are connected to the output sides of the transmitters to multiplex the channels f1-fn. The signal of each channel which is transmitted from a transmitter part 1 by a feeder 3 is fed to a primary radiator 2. The radiator 2 irradiates the desired service areas. For this purpose, the demultiplexing devices 61-6n are provided to demultiplex successively (n) channels comprising the channels f1-fn in response to the array of beams. The multiplexed channels are distributed to radiating elements 41-4n which are arranged in accordance with the array of beams.
