The integrated thermostat, shunt and pressure limiting valve comprises a seat (1), a cone (10), a control for the cone (9), a fixture (6) for the cone guide, and fittings for the valve assembly in a fluid conduit (5) which the valve opens or closes. The cone (10) locates against one end of a temp. sensitive component (12) whose other end is fixed. The valve arrangement opens or closes dependent upon the actual temp. of the fluid, and opens dependent upon the ruling pressure difference. - The temp. sensitive component (12) is either a spiral spring, or a cylindrical bellows controlled by the cone control (9). The bellows can be of metal or of plastics. The valve seat (1) is formed as a hollow body, in one end of which is a sealing surface (8) for the cone, whilst in its other end is a bottom (6) with a hole which also acts as fixture for the cone guide (9). |
